I’m sure you’ll agree
with me that the use of social media has afforded us new perspectives to seeing
our world. Of course, it also behooves us to use social media responsibly.
I strongly believe that government leaders today can perform better by connecting with the public on social media. A vibrant online environment is taking shape and where the rakyat are to be found, as leaders we should seek to engage them.

Recently, it has been brought to my attention that there are
some new social media platforms that I should join. Besides Twitter, Facebook
and Google+, what social media network are you using? How do you feel I can
best engage the rakyat using it?
